Finalising my ideas,
Ideally my installation would have been bigger and would have been more stable. I would have liked to present outside or even within a different area of DJCAD, I was thinking this area located outside the Cooper Gallery. There's a nice grassy/ flowery part hidden amongst the building which i think would suit it. I was planning on situating the installation amongst the shrubs and draping my materials over them, like an oil spill of fabrics. The brick walls would provide support for wire and other materials to be suspended from. Also, the staircase and glass windows would have provided a nice backdrop, like a green house almost. It would have been ideal to present my work outside of my studio as I feel it was slightly limiting due to the spacing and capacity I could work at.
Weather as well would play an important role within the installing and presentation of the work. Rain, sunshine or snow - it wouldn't matter too much overall as the idea of the installation being affected by natural elements would be part of the process and final outcome.
